Tania Woods

Tania is the founder and editor of Inkfully, a storytelling community for women + online shop (launching soon!) The mission of Inkfully is to share authentic words and stories that encourage and empower women of all backgrounds and seasons, as they wrestle the beauties and the blows of life. She is a wife and stay-at-home mom of three beautiful children. She is also a mom on a the roller coaster journey of raising a child with autism. Outside of these roles, there is nothing that brings her more joy than encouraging and reminding others that they aren't alone. Even if that means exposing her past, or making herself the expense of your good laugh. Chitra Hanstad

Chitra began as Executive Director at World Relief Seattle in January. Prior to this, she spent a year in India consulting for Justice Ventures International (an anti-trafficking organization) on strategic planning and fund development. Prior to that, she was a Philanthropic Advisor for Seattle Foundation. 

While her career started in corporate advertising, public relations and media relations, she has spent most of the last twenty years working for local and international non-profits. Chitra has worked in Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, India, Romania, Mexico and the Netherlands. In Seattle, she has lived in, worked with and organized the community in the Rainier Valley of Seattle. She was Director of Community Care at Jubilee REACH; founded and was Executive Director of Emerald City Jobs; and has consulted with Urban Impact, Rainier Beach Community Empowerment Coalition, Rainier Scholars and Landesa. She also worked for Karnataka Health Promotions Trust and Aperian Global in India. Chitra has a passion for seeing at-risk communities thrive. She has served on many boards including Covenant World Relief & Urban Impact, and volunteers with The Stability Network.

001 Brunch - Standing Strong




Lori Brown

Lori just celebrated 25 years of marriage and the graduation of her second and final child from high school. She currently works in the Center for Career and Calling at Seattle Pacific University and previously served with World Vision, where she loved the travel part of her job so much, that she left it for an around the world trip with her family. Lori has lived in the Columbia City/Rainier Valley neighborhood for 27 years, attending Emerald City Bible Fellowship for just as long, where she loves to teach bible study and preach a sermon every now and then.

Ivory Bruinsma 

Ivory Bruinsma is a wife, Mama of three bright energetic future leaders, colon cancer survivor, storyteller, and creative. She lives in Parkland, Wa five minutes from her husbands work. Lover of coffee, colors, flowers and people. Follow her on Instagram:  @helloitsivory

Carol Chin 

Carol is a Jesus-follower, and homeschooling mom of five beautiful kids ranging in age from 2 to 11.  She and her amazing husband will celebrate 14 wonderful years of marriage this October.  In a previous life chapter, she served displaced and refugee populations in post-conflict situations in Africa and Central Asia.  The daughter of Korean immigrants, she is thankful to be living now near enough to her parents to enjoy their presence in the children's lives.  She and her family live in the Othello/Brighton neighborhood of South Seattle, and serve at Rainier Avenue Church.
