Meet Gyna

Gyna Uhrlass is the founder of MWB. She is a wife and mom first. But put her in the midst of women and she can't help want to form deeper relationships.

Gyna considers it a privilege to be able to use her gifts of encouragement and hospitality to connect women from all walks of life. She's currently in the process of getting trained to be a Mom Life Coach.

Gyna has been married to Micah for almost a decade. She spends most of her time cleaning up after (and trying to satisfy the appetites of their three growing children.

She's passionate about her Haitian roots and travels to visit her family all over the US. When she's not getting together with other moms or running after her kids, she spends her free time sharing her life's journey through blogging and acting.

Meet Kelly

Kelly Sutton is the Creative Director of MWB. She is a wife, mom, and teacher. God has gifted her with a prayerful heart, creative mind, and empathetic ears. When surrounded by women, she's the problem solving, supportive listener.

Kelly's heART work includes encouraging and teaching children to follow the path God has for them, which relies on the parents and community of believers. She believes parents are the child's first teachers, therefore leading by example is essential.

Kelly has been married to Kerry for 7 years. Kelly and Kerry have two amazing extensions of their love - Kaden and Kylah.

She spends most of her time with her two growing miracles and husband - going on family adventures, hanging out with friends, and learning about the world around them with a social justice lens. On her free time, she enjoys supporting and appreciating other mothers through relationships and blogging.

Meet Ashley

Ashley Nienaber is the Communications Director of MWB. She is a proud Midwesterner, with a love for the South, who is living the dream in the PNW. She and her husband Mike have been married for 7 years and have 3 boys who keep them on their toes daily, if not hourly.

Passionate about healthy families and communities, Ashley and her family love the life they've made living with purpose in South Seattle.

Along with taking care of her boys, Ashley empowers women through her work as a birth doula. She is also an active community advocate and political activist. A networker by nature, she sees herself as a asset strategist always connecting people, places and resources wherever she goes.

Ashley considers herself a dabbler, doodler and ditty-maker, with a love for all things creative. You can often find her with a book, ukulele, calligraphy pen or in a kayak, depending on the season.
